Meanwhile, I thought I’d try pCloud’s Support team and they responded with commendable promptitude. The Synology NASes are somewhat out of my price/need range!

My broadband connection is a reasonably fast one: I’m getting 15-20 Mbits/sec average download speed on the Pi, and about double that on the Windows lappie.Īny feedback from other users of PCloud under RISC OS would be appreciated! At first I suspected this was a RISC OS I/O timing issue, but I’ve also had the same type of problem on Windows alone, working through the PCloud app’s local hard drive folder.
The same problem arises when I use LanMan98 to access the shared PCloud folder on my Windows laptop pressing Restart or Retry in the LM dialogue box often allows the process to restart, but it invariably stalls again after copying a few more small files or part-downloading a large file. Basically the process stalls after a dozen or so files with a ‘Connection broken’ or other server too busy-type message. I’m wondering if anyone using PCloud has experienced the persistent difficulties I’m having in copying multiple-file directories from PCloud to local disks using CloudFS.
